Spring -Henbit
Purple flowers with
sweet nectar. We’d suckle them,
picked from spring playground
Summer – Red Chute
Fishing until the
summer heat beat down our backs.
Baseball for evening.
Winter – Ruston
3AM, winter
air dotted with Orion’s
arrow as we walked.
Autumn – Little Cousins
They played in autumn
leaves slightly damp, like
we once did as kids.
