Written by Stuart Gough
I took a leap into the sky,
Tangled in webs of white.
I caught a glimpse, but couldn’t fly.
My unblinking gaze, aiming high,
Saw a dream that burned so bright—
I took a leap into the sky.
With each breath, I wondered why,
Fate led me to this endless night.
I caught a glimpse, but couldn’t fly.
Far below, the world passed by,
Yet still, the dream was out of sight.
I took a leap into the sky.
As I fell, I heard a sigh,
But knew the dream was worth the fight.
I caught a glimpse, but couldn’t fly.
