Written by Jan Kirchner
Barbed wire bites the border—
not of land,
but of soul.
One side hums with machines
that mimic love.
On the other,
a boy carves hope into bark with his teeth.
They say we are progress.
They say we are light.
But we build cities
that never sleep
and hearts
that never wake.
This is the wire:
the sharp line
where algorithms whisper lullabies,
and no one dares to scream.
