I can sight read piano music, but I can’t stop thinking about you
I can play “All of You” by John Legend by ear, but I can’t stop thinking about you
I want to sing a new song, but find myself drawn to 50 Shades of Gray
I’m a recovering masochist for your venomous tongue
Your tongue may be silver, but your hair is definitely gray
Blue eyes, always looking away from the camera to feign inspiration
I can’t go through a single day without wondering how much of you is
An illusion and how much is real
You don’t say a word to me, but I can feel your presence lurk
Couched in my veins
I have come to believe when I cursed you
That your heart came to live in my chest
I can feel its desperate throb, even now
Against my bare skin
You won’t let me touch you, but perhaps
I already am.

In too deep, way too trapped to, SNAP out of that, trance, and, there’s, NO way, out, as you are, completely, INFATUATED, trappped too, deep, in your feelings toward, the, other, person…
