Is this the end?

Is this how I say goodbye?

For I fear I have not lived

Feared to express who I truly was

Feared to express who I wanted to be

Feared my own deserved happiness

My life, I offered voluntarily

Lacked the courage to say no

Given to those undeserving

For expectations was my folly and lunacy my comfort

I am indeed at the end

My life, robbed of happiness by thine hand; insignificant and empty

And just like that I feel the light taking me away

For death never forgives, but weighs that which we have lived

And nothingness will be my place of rest
