False perceptions
Built upon lies
An untimely demise –
Or was it?
The lies that used to make you cry
Suddenly provide a release to your
Desperate desire for freedom.
Freedom of sadness,
Spiritual entrapment,
Limitation.
The lies opened your eyes –
You were self-blindfolded
The entire time.
The betrayal stained the sheets
And the imbalance was clear to see –
to feel –
to unveil.
Injustice is a feeling of familiarity;
The trauma rings sadly within my heart –
I recognized it from the start.
I’m rebuilding myself,
And seeking closure on the past
Only with the old me.
The decisions we make either trap us,
Or set us free.
Which one will it be?

We eventually, become the lies we told, because that’s the only way, we can use, to, survive…
