Deprived of the sleep, every single night
Preparing sleeplessly, to claim the right
Awake at the night, to keep up with the fight
Sleep is an afterthought, challenge is the light
Just keep awake to keep an eye on the prize
It is more about the heart, not the pride
Working through the night and sleep stops
In those sleepless nights, it cannot stop
The task at hand, the sleepless as it gets
Better get it done and then it’s time to rest
