Here I was again,
Beautiful Hoi An,
Oh! I will never forget that trip to ‘nam.
Took my favourite Sinh Cafe,
Saigon to Nha Trang and Mui Ne as a stop,
And whole of ‘nam I did hop!
Oh! Beautiful ‘nam.
Enchanted me the old town charm,
Beautiful Hoi An!
Small shops and small streets,
Colourful lanterns and eateries,
Faces from different countries,
Saw the beach sunrise at dawn,
Beautiful Hoi An.
What a coincidence life shows at times,
Her “hey” shout while me walking down the street,
Was the third time we coincidentally met indeed,
After a brief meet,
It was time to go,
I shall see Hoi An again,
Someday, I hope.
I will never forget that trip to ‘nam,
Beautiful Hoi An…
