Written by Benjamin Nambu
Resilience is the color of Nature
Feel her stubbornness in tough weed
That keep rising when crushed
See them rise among rocks
Among thorns
Even on paths frequented by a million feet
Feel her patience vibrating in the waves
Calculated moves and motives
Lurking in the breeze
Searching for soft spots of ships to strike
Feel her fearlessness, fury and focus
Mirrored in the faces of the eagle and lion
Feel her wisdom in the variety of ways she presents herself
See how she reinvents herself
In seeds dispersed far and wide
Resurrecting in new life forms
When an old tree kneels in death
