Written by Samantha Hohnhaus

Made of paper from the Amazonas forest
in most varied colours and designs
pink & palest blue, white and cyan striped.
If stars or statues, crystal balls or boxes;
if small, Big, HUGE
Whatever. Never mind.
For the sticking tweak of glue follows
me through day and night;
my bestest friend, your bestest too (I hope)
curling away, pulling ahead;
stretching, holding on, wanna stay –
Then they separate.
Thank you dearest Sticky Note,
keep holding. My future thought!
