I can’t recall the exact moment I lost you
but I know it’s been too long
I walked aimlessly through life
I didn’t even notice you were gone
Until now.
I want to say I’m sorry
for leaving you behind
I didn’t realize that without you
I was leaving us blind
You can come out now
I’ve made it safe again
I want you with me
to remind me of our dreams
I promise I won’t ignore you again
With you beside me, we can live what is true
Life is waiting
And all I’m missing…
is you.
