Curves, reflections and serenity – these are elements I like to portray.
A curve is a line that does not have to be either distorted or straight, neither right nor wrong. It shapes images and evokes reflections from our memories, links to what we have seen and experienced. It rewards us with feelings or leaves us indifferent.

Reflections are our experiences of laughters, joys, lights, warmth, but also dark discomfort. They return to us as precise but inverted images or as distorted templates. My interpretation of these reflections is only a suggestion for understanding and explanation, not a command. Therefore, mirroring is not just a photographically accurate representation of reality, but an image, a feeling, a vision.
I like to capture silence, peace, the screaming of the landscape, my thoughts and visions and then observe how others experience them – I am often surprised, amazed, often confused by the reactions of those who look at my images. This encourages me to explore further.
I like to shoot with the long exposure technique, which allows me to record movement, dynamizing and describing objects in time in more detail and adding a third dimension to the image with them.
I want everyone to look at my images in their way, to experience them as they can, and if possible, to touch the peace and passion I felt tearing pieces of moments from the curve of time and storing their reflections in memories.”

Photography & Philosophy
The freezing of a moment is a magical event. Images can make us feel love, rage and every sensation in between.
Photographers, whether partial or impartial to their subject matter, consume a massive amount of insight. Their participation cannot be substituted nor replicated. The moment is gone! The experiences will live in their minds and those encounters are immortalized in their photographs.
Edge of Humanity Magazine’s ‘Photography & Philosophy’ series will bring together the art and the mind of these fantastic creators.
