Of German origin and based in Paris, I am a visual artist and olfactory designer. My practice centers on painting on metal, combining oil paint and Indian ink. Rooted in an approach of lyrical abstraction, my work explores light, chromatic variation, movement, as well as the traces left by gestures, maps, signs, and fragments of memory on the pictorial surface.
My paintings engage with the human experience of displacement, memory, and inner transformation. They invite the viewer to reflect on how personal and collective histories remain inscribed in the places we inhabit and in the images we carry within us.
For certain exhibitions, I also create olfactory compositions that extend the paintings into space and awaken a sensory memory in the viewer.
Through my exhibitions in galleries, museums, and art fairs across Europe, I have developed an artistic universe in which painting, writing, cartography, and scent engage in dialogue, seeking to offer an experience that is both contemplative and sensory.
Ultimately, my work invites a pause — to observe, to remember, and to reconnect with the invisible traces that shape our individual and collective human experience.

Every piece of art, crafts, or textiles, hanging on my walls or ceiling tells a tiny passage of my life. Most of it was acquired during my travels. Many of these treasures are damaged whether because they were broken on arrival, as the pieces were tightly stuffed into my backpack, or weathered by the unforgiving Florida tropical humidity. But in the end, they are my precious processions and they are part of the stories I tell. It feels good to have rugs hanging from the ceiling, masks on the walls, and drinking my morning coffee thinking of the mugs’ tale. The point here is that art has a lot to offer each one of us; ART IS VERY PERSONAL!

The NO MIDDLEMAN ART GALLERY offers that personal experience as the individual has the opportunity to buy the art from the creator and by doing so a new event to remember is born.
