“Touching God” series – Tatra Mountains Poland.
I took these photos during a four-day solo stay in the mountains, during which I experienced nothing but silence, contemplation of the place, drizzle, wind, and the scents of the earth. It was a mystical, cleansing, and unique experience. Through my photographs, I express my emotions and mood associated with silence in the face of nature’s power. The mountains gave me a sense of God, and their majesty, especially in the fog, allowed me to feel free, far from the rushing world, human problems, patterns, and rules. With a penchant for silence, I lost myself for several days on the mountain trails and rediscovered myself and my meaning. Nature is a blessing for modern man.
