Larger than life, these papier-mâché figures and animals are the remnants of carnival floats, abandoned or awaiting a new destiny. Frozen in a chaotic world, they seem suspended between apparition and disappearance. Their motionless bodies form a strange theatre, where wonder meets unease, and abandonment becomes poetry.
Biography: For more than forty years, the practice of documentary and photography has established itself as a way of life. Whatever the themes addressed, music, science, childhood, cannabis, identity, memory or imagination, ultimately, what happens to others is also what happens to me. Even when I'm not filming or shooting, I'm still a filmmaker and a photographer.
