Alive, After Paradise is a multimedia, multiversal Biblical project created by writer Jasmine Plaskon. Introduced with a premise centered on the end of the world, the project follows Archangels Lucifer and Michael as they navigate humanity’s ongoing crises and explores a central question: if humanity became extinct but consciousness could be extracted from the body, could an inorganic being like a cyborg believe in God? Drawing influence from works such as Dialogues with the Devil and Paradise Lost, the project expands into a developed universe examining faith and existential inquiry.

Jasmine Plaskon, a Black queer writer from Seattle, began the project in 2023. Holding an MFA in creative writing from Spalding University, Jasmine has worked as an Events Manager, founded a local showcase, and contributed proofreading and editing to various creative communities. Her writing has appeared in Exhibit B and Winter Tangerine. Living in Seattle with her husband and two dogs, she continues pursuing writing as her primary mission.
