Rob Blanken’s project “Vulnerability” stems from a life-altering traffic accident that limited his ability to continue his work as a dermatologist. This experience led him to explore vulnerability across individuals, species, and ecosystems. Through images of insects, both living and dead, the series reflects themes such as fragility, struggle, and survival, emphasizing the delicate balance between strength and exposure in life.
