At Edge of Humanity Magazine, photographer Yona Elig presents the project I don’t chase images. I wait for light, and I work quietly enough to remain unnoticed. The series focuses on everyday interiors and urban spaces, where patience and attention shape the photographs. Born in Istanbul and living in Milan, Elig is a 73-year-old photographer with a background in graphic design who began photographing after retirement. Working with discreet cameras and sometimes a phone, she emphasizes light, atmosphere, and quiet presence, using post-processing and digital tools to shape mood and visual tone.
