Katarzyna Zub’s project “There is a Reason for Your Season” explores life in a rural Polish community shaped by seasonal rhythms. The work reflects the connection between people, land, and time through daily routines, folklore, and transitions across the seasons. Created over twenty years ago and revisited later, the images are seen through memory and lived experience. Produced on analogue film and digitized from prints and negatives, the photographs embrace natural imperfections, reinforcing the contemplative nature of the series.
