Mimo Khair’s Between Places brings together photographs made over years of traveling through Asia, the Middle East and Europe. The series emerged from images that were not originally intended to form a single body of work, but which share Khair’s interest in moments when people, gestures, reflections or light change the way a place is seen. His approach to travel centers on walking, observing and becoming part of unfamiliar surroundings, searching for small moments of connection across different cultures and landscapes.
