With all the heavy machinery involved in agriculture today, one forgets how simple working the land can be. This Egyptian man uses his galabeya to hold seeds he had gathered earlier. The farmer goes into the field and spreads them hoping for sun, rain, and a fair harvest. This simple life of living on a farm in Egypt, is the way the people live today and have lived for generations before them. The farmers and their families set things in motion, plant their seeds, cross the t’s and dot the i’s and hope that “Insha’Allah” they will have a productive harvest and a good simple life that continues on.
