Istanbul is a plural & complex city which refuses any substantial and exhaustive definition. Regarding itself the city doesn’t exist but comes to life after the touch of a listening glimpse. Which never comes out unscathed from the encountering. The city transforms itself through every step crossing it, dropping in return the trace of its relief, rifts and wrinkles.
Photography, poetry, writing history all testify the life Istanbul generates and is the starting point of the inspiration for the ones observing it; and this energy is travelling through Time with no caring for its line.
