Job security in America is becoming more and more elusive every year that goes by. The worker is becoming more dispensable and companies have no problem pushing their workers to siphon every last drop of blood, from the employee’s veins. In the meantime, the big cheese and his top lieutenants, collect the big bucks. Do not get me wrong, keeping costs in line and having the fingers on the pulse, is very important in running a company. The organization must be profitable or it will end up on the bankruptcy junk heap. However, exploitation of the workers is the pattern in corporate America.
