The movie Born On The Fourth of July is about a young man (Ron Kovic) who volunteered to serve in the Vietnam War and came back to America paralyzed. He then went on to protest the war. Tom Cruise played the part of Ron Kovic. This is a fantastic movie directed by the extremely talented Oliver Stone.
