These photographs contain isolated fragments of a road trip taken from the passenger’s seat of the car. They capture more than the human eye can perceive: the views are distorted in various ways to infuse a sense of beauty but also the sadness and menace of this fast spinning world. Views from the streets dissolve and shatter. It’s about a world more lost than found.

In this series, I strive to collect impressions, sensations and moods while travelling through Europe. By blending the slowness of the landscape with the velocity of the car, by mixing the human constructions with the romantic nature besides the road, I deconstruct the existing topographical landscape and I create a visual poem in which color, movement, time and light become vehicles for the whole spectrum of my thoughts and feelings. It’s a deeply personal and subjective exploration, an inner trip to nowhere specific.
