Do opposites really attract or would someone like-minded be a better choice?

Sex is usually hotter with the non like-minded, as each participant can playfully and intangibly take turns staking their superior point of view on the other’s position. The problem here is that the “hot” in sex will not last forever.

Picture this, you are a fierce environmentalist and your mate on the other hand does not believe in climate change. This contrasting point of view will supply steamy conversations which can be very attractive for both of you.

Will in time, a mate’s reversed thinking cause the other to lose respect?

If a person with strong convictions is attractive to both of you, the content of those beliefs should not matter. However, if the attractiveness for any of you is fixed in competing over a passionate argument, there can be a time when the beliefs of one participant can overcome the embellishment bought on by ‘hot’ sex.
