I love this book. It is one of my favorites in the occult section of my library. It is valuable as a practical and historical tool. The book is an excellent guide for the beginning as well as experienced witch. I have never seen another book that has so many spells.

Get this; the hardcover book weighs over 5 pounds and has over 1100 pages. Jokingly, one needs a crane just to lift it. On the cover is a picture of a angle trumpet flower. I grow different varieties of these plants in my tropical garden. The flowers open and put out a strong magical smell.

5000 spells is divided into two sections:

Part One: Elements of Magic Spells

Part Two: The spells.

The author also has a clear warning in the beginning of the book that the spells come from a multitude of eras and many spells are not to be used because they are too dangerous. Good only for reference!
