The train has left the station and podcasts will continue to expand throughout the world. Audio (especially mobile) is very convenient and multitasking while listening to audio is the way to go especially for the time management freak. Yes, time is a valuable commodity and this is one of the podcast’s selling points.
The question is should bloggers start podcasting? The arena is very crowded and the key factor is how much time will be spent podcasting as opposed to just writing articles. Eyeballs and ears are the name of the game, but one person only has so many hours in the day. The real winners are the listeners with so much content to choose from.

A good question. I’ve considered podcasting (briefly), but I’ve questioned dedicating the time to get through the learning curve to do it well.
