Written by Merin George
Words started to fill in my mind like dark clouds, day by day it started getting enormous.
It filled me with drudgery and misery, scathing my own existence as a poet.
I may burst anytime like those clouds in to poems, musings and those untold stories….
Lightning and thunder struck my shores and it started to pour from the deepest tunnel of my mind.
Those words were really powerful, can transform to a hurricane , can pierce through minds like a dagger.
I took refuge under my dwelling, Like the animals in prairies seeking shelter under lush green canopies in the woods.
The fragrance of fresh grass from meadows filled in the air, my mind started to gravitate towards my lost dreams.
It poured on and on until I felt fluffier and lighter like the white vanilla clouds,
Sunlight spread over the sky like a streak of crimson yellow over the blue altar.
The Lone bird that took refuge under the willow tree in my front yard, started humming the musings of my soul.
