Written by J H Martin @ A Coat for a Monkey
When I sit
I don’t want to
And when I stand
I am nervous
What does that mean
What does that say
What change can I make
The wall
The lamp
The drawings
They are my sole company
Observers of inane routine
They see the stretch
They see the slack
They ask their own mirror
It will be three years
Next month
What lessons have been learned
The glasses on the box
They have not moved an inch
