Written by George Gad Economou
there are times hooch gets
you nostalgic and you revisit haunting
memories; you drink
some more but booze refuses to erase
the damn memories, it only
intensifies them. you keep pouring stiff highballs
down the hatch, waiting for the bliss
of blackout and a hangover so strong
that’ll make even the pains of the past mellow.
