Awakened by the stench present when the garbage truck stopped by my window, I decided to get up and go out into the night.
The buildings’ lights reflect colors on the freshly washed streets. Some people pass by in cars and on bicycles, others walking. Some still in a hurry at this hour while others are waiting for the sun to send them home.
As I lose and find myself in the city’s dark alleys all night long, I noticed a pattern of clusters. The locals congregate in open establishments that cater to the night walkers. Silently, patrons come and go. I wandered for hours then I stopped for a bite to eat and drink and smoked cigarettes.
Even though the city is resting from the heavy weight it carries during the day; life continuous on piercing the boundaries of darkness and brightness. Eagerly she provides for the scattered souls that roam at night.
At this time, street photography becomes edgy when glim promotes mystery.
