Written by Zach Rahed
Many people are miserable
Unless they’re drunk
Intoxicated
Cranked
Blitzed,
Baked, stoned, or hammered
3 sheets in the wind
Half in the bag
Wasted
Just to hide from their mortal sense of inadequacy
Unable to be happy without it
They will hate what you do
They will argue with you
(Lest spite be among their given arsenal)
They will dehumanize
You
Until they can feel above
All others, or
All of life
Around them
As fast as greased lightning
They can crush
Break
Snap
And shatter your iron spirit
Like it was paper thin
Like it was public enemy #1
Like it was nothing at all
By the power of megalomania
This kind of animal,
This unruly being
Lives like a tyrant
Like a king
If not on the throne
They will abuse
And use you
Like you were their gold
Merely a possession
Owned and up for sale
