Images & Text By Brigitte Bourger
The accumulation of images and information means that the minimalist approach to art finds more and more meaning. Simplifying the subject, reducing distractions bring a refined, aesthetic and soothing side.
Personally, I want to go further than the simple minimalist approach; the simplicity of my images is only an appearance. From glaciers to the tropics, I want to offer the viewers a “bird’s eye view”, which allows them to approach my real subject.
Revealing the fragile and fleeting aspect of the marine world that surrounds me every day is a quest for me. A marine world so dense and so fragile at the same time.

Photography & Philosophy
The freezing of a moment is a magical event. Images can make us feel love, rage and every sensation in between.
Photographers, whether partial or impartial to their subject matter, consume a massive amount of insight. Their participation cannot be substituted nor replicated. The moment is gone! The experiences will live in their minds and those encounters are immortalized in their photographs.
Edge of Humanity Magazine’s ‘Photography & Philosophy’ series will bring together the art and the mind of these fantastic creators.
