The series ‘Intentional Camera Movement’ uses the freedom of movement during long exposures to go beyond the representational and move into a realm where color and shape evokes imagined worlds for the viewer to interpret and associate with personal moods.
Artist Statement Eric (Harry) Harris is a self-taught photographer with a passion for recording and representing the natural world through his work. Feeling at home in the isolation of landscape, Harry explores the relationships between light and the seasons with images that invite emotional engagement through atmospheric portrayals of woodlands and the sea.
