The wars

I cannot stand them

I want them to be over

The one who started it

Run down

The way my dog

Ran the cat who started

All the mischief

At the time

Into a corner

I am so distant

From the action

The diseases

I want them over

Too

Not simply morph

Into a lifestyle of vaccines

Though I am grateful for

Having them

And those who deliver them

But more

Regardless

Than

Tucking in our world

To live with SARS

H1N1

COVID-19

And all the variants

Mutations

Rising

And how about volcanoes

Or maybe we live far

Away

By choice

To appreciate the new land

These create

And there are quakes

Might we re-sort ourselves

And fires

That seem chaotic

When they start

Are noticed

And them become

Manifest

There are creatures

With venom

I don’t’ know

What to do with these

Research them

Find the cures

In antitoxins

Though there is

Distance as well

To consider

Sigh

Maybe too much

In a world

Fallen as

Reformers say

And all kinds of others

Not to encourage

Armageddon

For apocalypse

Since

Well

That’s rather stupid

And sinful

And though grace abound

Forgiveness might require a line

On Earth

Depending on

The nihilating evil

Proposed and

Executed

So now I’m thinking

Maybe it’s deserved

Not on the moral

But the human

And the wrong person

Needlessly listening

To blame

The one who’s good

And takes to heart

Takes on oneself

Burdens that are not due

But the selection

Who

Often think

That must be me

What have I done

Or who am I

Such a sinner to misfortune

Me

No

It is not yours

To claim the evil

In the world

And as for fallenness

Everyone

And everything

It seems

Needs redemption

And if you’re good

You’re far along in that

The people who don’t hear

Anything redemptive

Are the ones

Who need

Revival

Into better thoughts

Healthier feelings

Understanding that the world’s style

Is indifferent

And we with wills

Must make the better

Difference

The world is what it is

As we say

As we’ve said for ages

Not as an excuse

Maybe a conversational

Observation

The human part

At least

Should be better

(we have will)

We who need to change

(not those who grow

but do not need to change

so much

c.f. the above)

Should listen

And should do it

Change for the better

And let increments

Become the way

An erstwhile world

On the move

At least it’s moving

Moving is energy

And might discover

Might build up

Something good

And lasting

If it’s good

What’s good

Why

Without dissembling

Exercising to the negative

For exercise

(though there are better

things

we might do for that)

I should think

We’d know

By now

If not

Let’s get together

To explore

Report

And recommend

To the congress of the world

That is anyone

To hear

And maybe change

You know

By good

For good
