Light and rain fall amongst the arteries,
Pigeon Doves turn against the hateful wind trying to nest and wing,
Dog tired in their single mindedness.
Life slowly bleeds away
Light seeps out
Blood from the afternoon haze
A box of lies-faded blue rolls along the concrete river
Lost in the insanity of having nothing to do.
Love lies like clear water
Death tends to Sustain,
Life wrestles the primordial, bloated and shameful
Still the earth cries in vain.
The carrion chord
Still we cast our eyes to the wind,
Feast upon all the promise it could bring,
All the while the Pigeon Doves toil away
Oblivious to the fear and apprehension of humanity
Desperate to grieve.
Take a little time to dread,
To revel in the sting of it all.
The Pigeon Doves turn to clay as our dying dreams take their stead.
All our faded bones gnawing at the veins of the city.
