other profession is
a heartbreaker.
She climbed the charts
then into my heart.
A banner expressing
my worship
of her flew
past her tent
on the hour.
A pleasure to
behold,
Her aura is
scented like
lilies and vulnerability.
Bishop’s pastoral letter
knows nothing about love.
The singer’s love
is a force that
I hope to behold
forever in person.
A plain old radio
is the official
winged messenger
of her soul.
