Written by Shruti Shandilya

It was the night I fell, I fell so hard

I gave you my all, my soul, my heart.

They say home is where the heart is

Well, do you know where mine is?

It was the night I miss

The breeze blew in like a kiss.

To have nudged your skin, felt your touch

Oh the gush of love, you’d felt I wish.

Down the lane, to the dark abyss

You said the words that fell amiss.

Little did I know, destiny had it in for me.

It was you, my love!

You were written for me.

It was the night I knew

I lost, but found everything in you.

They say home is where the heart is

Well, I finally know where mine is.
