Sosa returns to the spaces of his childhood as a caraqueño and pastoreño, reconnecting with families, friends, and personal history.
His statement highlights the contrast between documenting a place as an outsider and as someone who belongs to it, noting that his work emerged from a desire to re-engage with the people who shaped his early life. Rather than depicting expected narratives of tragedy or crime, he emphasizes the responsibility to show the duality of these environments. The project reflects his subjective vision of the parish where he was born and serves as a tribute to the individuals who inhabit these images, each carrying a story shared through his photographs.
