In the project Seattle, Patrick O’Brien photographs the city as a place of contrasts where urban architecture meets the natural environment. The series spans more than a decade, revisiting landmarks, waterfronts, neighborhoods, and lesser-known locations while observing changing light and atmosphere. O’Brien, a Pacific Northwest–based photographer active since the early 2000s, focuses on landscapes, urban scenes, and the region’s shifting moods and seasons. His work reflects a long-term engagement with place and a sustained interest in appreciating and sharing the character of the Pacific Northwest.
