Yanitsa Genova (b. 1994) is a Bulgarian photographer known for street and documentary photography. In her series Bulgaria. The place I was born, she presents documentary photography focused on Bulgaria. Genova finds peace and quiet in photographing still moments of everyday life while exploring the world through reading and learning. In recent years, she has sought to capture the silence and complexity of her feelings and inner world through black-and-white photography. She describes photography as an infinity into which one can immerse oneself.
