Photographer Irwan Librata presents a collection focused on the richness of Indonesia’s street environments, where markets, modern structures, and everyday life create diverse visual opportunities. The series highlights human-interest moments, geometric urban elements, and the interaction between people and their surroundings in Indonesia. The text introduces Irwan as a Biomedical Engineering and Nutrition graduate whose scientific training informs his analytical approach to photography. Beginning his photographic journey in 2022, he explored portrait, wildlife, landscape, conceptual, street, and street-art work, using each to study light, composition, and emotion. Over time, he found his strongest connection in street and street-art photography, drawn to their spontaneity and ability to reveal subtle narratives in daily life. His practice blends technical discipline with an evolving creative perspective, aiming to translate real scenes into meaningful visual observations.
