Edward Levinson’s Mind Games began in 2005 and explores stories created by combining three pinhole images in a single photograph. Levinson has used pinhole photography for artistic expression since 1993, looking for humor, irony, and social statements when combining scenes or objects. Using his three-hole “Pinhole Blender” camera, the overlapping images are created directly on film through a purely analog process rather than on a computer. He later scans the negatives, processes them as needed, and produces archival ink jet prints.
