Hannah Schneider presents her project Chemigrams through two series that detail distinct darkroom processes. The first uses resists on silver gelatin paper exposed to LED lighting and developed in caffenol before a forty eight hour salt water fixing bath. The second applies resists to expired silver gelatin paper exposed to outdoor light and processed with black and white paper developer and fixer. The work focuses on the materials and methods behind the chemigram print and the variations created through different exposures and development techniques.
