Jeanette Gibson explores perception and reality through surreal women’s portraits, digital art, and Artificial Intelligence. Her practice approaches AI as a collaborator in creating symbolic imagery inspired by ancient talismanic traditions. Through carefully crafted prompts, she explores intention, manifestation, the subconscious, and the relationship between human creativity and machine intelligence. Her work questions the boundaries between the real and artificial while examining how technology can shape perception. Based in Cape Town, South Africa, Gibson holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of the Orange Free State.
