Stuffed Shrimp Appetizer | Illustrated Recipe

Stuffed shrimp

 

Ingredients/directions:

 

1 lb. of fresh large shrimp

1 lb. of fresh large shrimp.

 

Preparing the stuffing:

 

5 bell peppers in small dices

3 bell peppers – cut in small dices.

Cook the peppers with olive oil until it caramelizes.

1/2 of a large onion

Add the onions at the end of the pepper’s cooking process.

5 strips of bacon - chopped

In a large bowl, add Panko (Japanese style bread crumbs), Parmesan cheese, two eggs, pepper to taste and the stuffing ingredients above.

Preparing the shrimp:

Make a cut as shown in the picture. This will help the shrimp to sit on the plate.

Place the shrimp on a cutting board.

Place 1 tbsp. of stuffing on the bottom of the shrimp.

Gently fold the tail of the shrimp over the stuffing

Arrange the shrimps on a pizza pan and place in a 400°F oven for 10 minutes.

Serving suggestions:

 

  1. Great with red wine.
  2. Make it into a light dinner by adding a simple Pasta & Oil.
