The Life Coaching Series

Written by Life Coach Carioca Da Gema

Like a steak on the grill that erroneously we keep poking and moving in order to make it cook faster there are people and situations in our lives that we must learn to leave it alone.

In the perfect world we all kiss and make up after a scuffle, but life in groups is not that easy. Although we have a problem with some people and situations close to us, we also have a role to play in this group.  I find that takes more energy to keep anger boiling than to just leave it alone.

I’m not speaking of forgiveness but instead of keeping a distance and carry on for the good of the entire group around you.

Obviously, people or situations that can prove destructive for your emotional or financial self should be avoided, you do not want to facilitate chapter #2.

Humanity is complicated; it is impossible to keep everyone pleased for long periods of time, and there are lingering unpleasantries that should be tucked away. And life goes on.
