Artur Jastrzębski’s Cities and Villages series combines artistic and documentary aspects, recording his emotions, observations, and changes in the contemporary world rather than following a single coherent project. Born in 1975 in Tychy, Poland, Jastrzębski has lived and worked there throughout his life and considers the city closely connected to his photography. Photography has been his passion for as long as he can remember, becoming his chosen medium in the 21st century for expressing his ideas, ambitions, emotions, and sensitivity.
