Chasing the Light is an intimate reading of the mountains across the Dolomites and Alti Tauri, shaped by the idea of nature as a place where the solitary man finds himself again. Photographer and writer Filippo Macchi, who describes himself first as a walker, creates his work through years of returning to the mountains and observing light, stone, silence, and changing weather. Living and working between Italy and the Swiss Alps, Macchi describes the Engadin valley as both subject and teacher.
